He began the literary activity in 1950, with essay “From worker to scholar” published in Literature Newspaper. Since that time period he had been published regularly in the press. He studied the problems of the story genre of Azerbaijani prose. A number of works had been published in Spanish, English, Arabic, Persian, Hungarian, Estonian, Tajik, and Tamil languages in translations
