Ahdi Bagdadi (XVI century) - linguist and poet.

Ahdi Bagdadi is known as the author of lyrical poems. He was Fuzuli’s contemporary, and was friend with his son Fazli. Valuable information on life and works of many Azerbaijani poets living and creating in Baghdad in XVI century was provided in his tazkira Gulshani shuara (Poets garden). Manuscript of the work is kept in the library of Saint-Petersburg State University.
