Mammad Araz (1933 -2004) - poet, translator

Mammad Araz is considered one of the most prominent representatives of the poetry of the twentieth century. Poems written in lyric psychological style besides being the most readable samples of modern poetry also had become wonderful song texts. “Mammad Araz” award was established in his honor (1993).
