Qatran Tabrizi

Divan of Qatran that reached us mainly consists of panegyric written in the period of rulers but the fascinating images of nature had found a place in introduction and played an important role in further development of the Azerbaijani school of poetry.

Azerbaijani researchers based on medieval sources note that Gatran Tabrizi was the first founder of the dictionary of definition of Persian lexicography in the history of the Persian language.
