Galleries

In total, 18,390 units of fine and decorative and applied art works are available in the State Art galleries functioning in the Republic of Azerbaijan. From them 14.000 are included in the fund of State Art gallery. Total number of units held in other regions us 4382. 

Azerbaijan State Art Gallery was established in 1972. Office of the gallery is temporarily located on the 5th floor of the State Film Fund. Number of exhibits here is 14,000. The gallery exhibits include works of all artists of Azerbaijan. 

Agjabedi State Art Gallery was established in 2005. It is located in the Agjabedi city. The number of exhibits in the gallery is 93. Here works of some professional and any amateur artists are displayed. 

Agdash State Art Gallery was established in 2001. Located in the city of Agdash. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 167. Here works of some professional and any amateur artists are displayed. 

Aghstafa State Art Gallery was established in 2007. It is located in Aghstafa city. The number of exhibits in the gallery is 30. Here, the works of Kamil Najafzadeh, Siruz Mirzazade, and other famous artists are displayed. 

Astara State Art Gallery was established in 1986. Located in the city of Astara. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 119 . Here the works of famous artists, such Alakbar Rzaguliyev Maral Rahmanzade, Salam salamzade etc.are displayed. 

Barda State Art Gallery was established in 1986. Located in the city of Barda. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 55. Here, the works of famous artists, such as T. Narimanbekov, Nadir Abdurahmanov, Salam Salamzade, A. Jafarov, etc. are displayed. 

It operates under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. 

Bilasuvar State Art Gallery was established in 1990. It is located in the Bilasuvar city. The number of exhibits in the gallery is 103. Here the works of famous artists like Maral Rahmanzade Gafar Seyfullayev Jamil Mufidzadə and so on and Peter Sabsay are displayed. 

Jalilabad State Art Gallery was established in 1985. It is located in the Jalilabad city. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 157. The works of famous artists, such as Salam Salamzade, Elbey Rzaguliyev, Farhad Khalilov, etc. are displayed. 

Dashkesan State Art Gallery was established in 1986. Gallery at present operates in the House of Culture of the region. The number of exhibits of gallery is 75. The works of famous artists, such as being Tagi Tagiyev, A. Jafarov, Boyukaga Mirzazade, etc. are displayed. 

Ganja  State Art Gallery was established in 1980. It is located in Ganja city, at Atatürk Avenue. Gallery exhibits are 41 units. Here, the works of well-known artists like T. Jafarov, Faik Osmanov, etc. as well as works of Ganja artists are displayed. 

Goranboy State Art Gallery was established in 1986. It is located in Goranboy city. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 108. Here, the works of famous artists, such as Tagi Tagiyev, Gullu Mustafayeva, Maral Rahmanzade etc are displayed. 

Khachmaz State Art Gallery was established in 2005. It is located in Khachmaz city. The number of gallery exhibits is 64. Here, the works of famous artists, such Kamil Najafzadeh, Asmar Narimanbeyov, Faig Hasanov, etc. are displayed. 

Imishli State Art Gallery was established in 1988. It is located in Imishli city. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 243. Here, the works of famous artists, such as Tagi Tagiyev, A. Abbasov, Ogtay Sadiqzade, Boyukaga Mirzazade, etc. are displayed. 

Kurdamir State Art Gallery was established in 2002. It is located in the Kurdamir city. The number of the gallery exhibits is 92.  

Gakh State Art Gallery was established in 1986. Located in the Gakh city. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 230.  The works of famous artists, such as Boyukaga Mirzazade, Farhad Khalilov, Khalida Safarova, etc. are displayed here. 

Gazakh State Art Gallery was established in 1986. It is located in Gazakh city. The number of exhibits is 753.  The works of famous artists, such as Boyukaga Mirzazade, David Kazimov, Tagi Tagiyev, etc. are displayed here. 

Gabala State Art Gallery was established in 2005. Located in the city of Gabala. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 595. Here the works of famous artists, such as Boyukaga Mrzazade, David Kazimov, Alyar Alimirzayev, etc. are displayed. 

Gusar State Art Gallery was established in 1986. It is located in the Palace of Culture of city Gusar. The number of gallery exhibits is 101. Here the works of famous artists, such as Rafiq Mehdiyev, Asaf Jafarov, Farman Gulamov and others are displayed.  

Lachin State Art Gallery was established in 1990. It is located in the town of Lachin. In connection with occupation of Lachin region in 1992, by Armenia the exhibits have been destroyed. Gallery is located now temporarily in Baku city in Tabriz cinema. Amateur artists\' works are displayed here. 

Lerik State Art Gallery was established in 2005. It is located in the Culture house of Lerik city. The number of gallery exhibits is 55. Here, the works of famous artists, such as the Nadir Abdurahmanov, Salam Salamzade, Mahmud Tagiyev, A. Jafarov, etc. are displayed. 

Lankaran State Art Gallery was established in 1981. It is located in Lankaran city, at Mirmustafakhan street 13. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 124. Here, the works of famous artists, such as T. Narimanbekov, Nadir Abdurahmanov, Boyukaga Mirzazade, Latif Feyzullayev, Hafiz Zeynalov, etc. are displayed. 

Masalli State Art Gallery was established in 1984. It is located in the Masalli city. The number of gallery exhibits is 99. Here, works of famous artists, such as T. Narimanbekov, Farhad Khalilov, Alakbar Rzaquliuev, etc. are displayed. 

Mingachevir State Art Gallery was established in 1986. It is located in the Mingachevir city. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 169. Here the works of famous artists, such as Mikail Abdullayev, David Kazimov, Abdul Khalig, Fazil Najafov, Tokay Mammadov, etc. are displayed. 

State Art Gallery is located in the town of Nakhchivan of Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic. The works of artists of the Autonomous republic are displayed here. 

Neftchala State Art Gallery was established in 1990. It is located at Palace of Culture and Arts of Netfchala city. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 180. Here, the works of famous artists, such as Farhad Khalilov, Salam Salamzade, Boyukaga Mirzazade, Gafar Seyfullayev, etc. are displayed. 

Saatly State Art Gallery was established in 1993. It is located in Sattly city. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 167. Here the works of famous painter T. Narimanbeyov are exhibited

Salyan State Art Gallery was established in 1985. It is located in the city of Salyan. The number of the gallery exhibits is 79. Here, the works of famous artists, such as T. Narimanbekov, Nadir Abdurahmanov, Salam Salamzade, A. Jafarov, etc. are displayed. 

Sumgait State Art Gallery was established in 1967, as the Sumgait City Exhibition Hall. Until 1981 it functioned as a branch of Azerbaijan Art Gallery. In the same year, on December 31 it has received the status of the Sumgayit State Art Gallery. It is located in the city of Sumgait. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 280. The works of famous artists, such as Salam Salamzade, Gafar Seyfullayev, Farhad Khalilov, Boyukaga Mirzazade, etc. are displayed. 

Shamakhy State Art Gallery was established in 1990. It is located in the city Shamakhy. The number of gallery exhibits is 75. Here the works of famous artists, such as Vajiha Samedova, Maral Rahmanzade, Boyukaga Mirzazade, etc. are displayed. 

Sheki State Art Gallery was established in 1990. It is located on the Yukharibash settlement of Sheki city. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 283. Here the works of famous artists, such as Latif Feyzullayev, Boyukaga Mirzazade, etc. being displayed. 

Shirvan State Art Gallery was established in 1990. It is located in the city of Shirvan. The number of exhibits of the gallery is 60. Total area is 166 square meters, of which 20 sq.meter belong to the fund.  Here, the works of famous artists, such as Salam Salamzade, Gafar Seyfullayev, Farhad Khalilov, etc. are displayed here. 

Shusha State Art Gallery was established in 1981. It is located in the city of Shusha. In May 8, 1992 at occupation of Shusha by Armenia 282 pieces of fine and decorative work of art were destroyed. Gallery currently continues its activities in Baku city. The number of the gallery materials is over 500. 

Tovuz State Art Gallery was established in 1986. It is located in the city of Tovuz. The number of the gallery exhibits is 37. The works of famous artists, such as Salam Salamzade, Nadir Abdurahmanov, Mikail Abdullayev, etc. are displayed. 

Zaqatala State Art Gallery was established in 1989. It is located in the city of Zaqatala. The number of the gallery exhibits is 79. The works of famous artists, such as Rafiq Mehdiyev, Arif Azizov, etc are displayed.
