\"Mozalan\" satirist news-reel

Mozalan satirist news-reel was established in 1971 under the film studio of Azerbaijanfilm named after Jafar Jabbarly. More than 180 editions have been produced in the news-reel up to now. There are 3-4 plots in the each edition. These are plots of art, documentary and even animation.

 Purpose of the Mozalan satirist news-reel is to fight against negative circumstances, to deliver the social insufficiencies with satire language to the people. In documentary plots to appear suddenly at any production objects, to shoot shortages there, to inform all the republic was one of the main working methods of Mozalan staff.    

The first film of the Mozalan satirist news-reel has been Hörmətli alim yoldaşlar (Dear scientist comrades) short art plot. Producer of the plot shot in the comedy genre was Ogtay Mirgasymov, script writer Akram Aylisli. In film the narrator launches the news-reel by explaining the humorist meanings of the Mozalan word and shows what position will take news-reel in future.

The first editor-in-chief of the Mozalan satirist news-reel has been Eyvaz Borchali. 

 “Mozalan” studio was rewarded in 2008 with «Quality and authority leader international prize founded by Aktualidad journal of the Spain.
