Ballet performances

The history of ballet art in Azerbaijan begins with  “Qiz Qalasy” ( Maiden Tower)  ballet staged by composer A.Badalbeyli in 1940. From that date until now 29 ballet works of Azerbaijani composers were dramatized. Some of these works (for example, Seven Beauties ballet) was staged in different times in different staging. Some ballets are preserved as fragments in the archives of the television.
