RomancesThe word romance gives meaning romanice from the Spanish. It is one of genres of vocal music. Small piece of poetry and lyrical music is the basis of romance. This genre, which was wide spread in XV-XIX centuries, is very young for Azerbaijani music. Its first samples were created in the national music by Uzeyir Hajibeyov. Since the end of the twentieth century trend to this genre become decreased. Romances of composers A. Zeynally, G. Garayev, F. Amirov, İ. Hajbeyov, V. Adygozelov, A. Rzayeva, A.. Huseynzade, A. Sultanova and others are widespread. The romances sung by famous vocalist Bulbul Without You, Sweetheart were included in the golden fund of Azerbaijani music.
