Courts of Appeal of the Azerbaijan Republic

Courts of Appeal of the Azerbaijan Republic are courts of higher instance on cases related to their competence by the law.

Appeal courts deals with appeal complaints and protests on decision made by the courts of first instance in criminal and administrative, civil, and administrative and economic disputes.

The Court of Appeal consists of 4 Collegial Boards - civil, criminal, administrative, economic, military and operates on territorial jurisdiction. 

Judges of the Courts of Appeal of the Azerbaijan Republic are appointed upon the recommendation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
