Philosophical thoughts about ZoroastrianismZoroastrianism is the oldest and most important teaching in Azerbaijan’s philosophical thought. The collection of sacred texts, Zoroastrian Avesta reflects the encyclopedic information on the socio-cultural life, in particular the philosophical thought of the period. Ancient and medieval sources, as well as many subsequent researchers point to stay on Zarathustra historical territory of Azerbaijan, on the drafting of the original text has come down to us, Avesta magicians of Atroptena and Raga.
Early Zoroastrianism is mentioned in the Gathas - a crucial part of the Avesta. In contrast to the polytheistic views, widespread in the period under review, the teachings of Zoroaster gave a monotheistic identity in the creation of the world and considered Ahura Mazda (Ohrmazd) the creator of the spiritual and the physical world. In the Gathas constitute the universe - earth, sky, ocean, mountains and the sea arise in the interval of time, and also examines the philosophical, social, ethical and aesthetic questions about heaven, reality, goodness, peace, hard work, etc.
In Avesta the Spirit of evil confronts Art is a symbol of truth, justice and light. In the fight against spirits active carriers of specific emotions in the universe (human, animal, plants, minerals, etc.). All things in the universe is alive. Passion (desire), characterized by both specific and abstract. The passion and desire of man - is the manner of his behavior, along with his faith, world outlook, moral principles that form the system reveal the essence of a man who at the free will chooses the path of good or evil. In gatah structure of the universe is consist of creation the earth, the sky, ocean, light, mountain withinh the time.
