Labor resources
Referring to the labor resources means the reserve forces in the labor market. Major part of labor resources comprises the key part of labor able population. Efficient use of labor resources in Azerbaijan got a spread since the 2002. Thus, 40,1% of rural people engaged in the fields of agriculture and forestry, 16.4% in trade, public catering, sales and procurement areas, 8.9% in education, science, culture and art fields, 3, 6% worked in the industry. During 1990-2002 in the fields of industry, science and education, construction, transport and communication the number of employees was reduced. During this period, the number of people employed in the fields of management bodies and trade increased. As a result of special programs currently carried out by the state this difference is going to be eliminated.
