Committees of the National Assembly 11 committees function in structure of the Milli Mejlis 1. Committee of legal policy and state building is a leading committee on laws and bills of law for forming of legal policy of state and implementation as well as state building. 2. Committee on Security and Defense is leading committee on bills of law concerning problems of security and defense. 3. Committee of economical politics is leading committee on bills of law of the state finance and tax system, formation and implementation of the economical politics, as well as affirming and execution of the State Budget. 5. Committee on the agrarian policy is leading committee on laws and bill of laws related to formation of agrarian politics of the state and its implementation. 6. Committee of regional problems is leading committee on laws and bill of laws related to forming of the public policy institutions connected to local government an its implementation. 7. Committee of social politics is leading committee on laws and bill of laws related to forming of the social politics of the state and its implementation. 9. Committee on cultural affairs is leading committee on laws and bill of laws related to forming and implementation of public policy in the field of culture and protection of cultural wealth. 10. Committee of international and interparliamentary relations is leading committee on laws and bill of laws related to forming and implementation of foreign policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 11. Committee of Human Rights is leading committee on laws and bill of laws related to forming and implementation of public policy in the field of human rights and provision of freedoms.
