Khanate of Tabriz

It was founded in the middle of XVIII century. It had borders with Khoy, Ardabil, Garadagh, Sarab and Maragha khanates and Lake Urmia. It was divided into Tabriz, Guney and Marand mahals. Initially Khalhal and Ardebil provinces were also under governance of Tabriz khanate. Compared to other khanates it was very weak. In 1780 the khanate was abolished and its area was united to Khoy khanate.
