Elmira Huseynova

She graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School (1954) named after Azim Azimzadeh and Leningrad Painting, Sculpture and Architecture Institute named after I.Repin (1960). She worked in household and portrait genre of the sculpture.

Her works  Collective farmer Girl (1957), Worker (1958), Family (1960), J. Jabbarli (1968), Mother (1970), Rasul Rza (1970), etc are characterized by originality and compactness of the composition of the plastic forms. Elmira Huseynova also worked in the field of monumental sculpture (monument of J. Jabbarli, 1966; monument of H. Zardabi in front of the ASE General edition, 1983).

She was awarded the title of honored artist of Azerbaijan in 1967.
