Jura drum

In particular, it accompanies zourna team. It has specific role and function in music folklore. It is smaller than main drum. The name of instrument Jura (small)has this meaning.

Its frame is made of different types of wood in cylindrical form. The surface is made of goat or sheep skin. It is almost never used alone, and always is used together with a big drum, which has same structure. It is sounded with two light sticks with head tilted back.

Its diameter is 300-320 mm, and height is 340-360 mm.
