Sultanate of IlisuThe sultanate that established in 2nd half of XVI century, had existed till middle of XIX century. Its center was Ilisu. The sultanate had borders with the Caucasus in north and east, and Qaniq river from west, Sheki khanate from south-east. It was annexed in 1807 by Russia. It was included in Jar-Balakan administrative region in 1830. In 1840 the area of Ilisu sultanate was included in Georgia-Imeretia province. It was liquidated in 1844.
