\"Veteran of the Armed Forces\' Medal

It was approved by Law NO 329 – IIQ dated May 17, 2002. 

Medal of Veteran of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Republic  consists  of board of 35 mm of  diameter of round form done in silver water and cast from bronze together with narrow board of national ornament. The emblem with relief of Armed Forces was described in the mid of the medal.  The word “Azerbaijan Republic” was scripted on the upper side of emblem along the arch, and word “Veteran of Armed Forces” on the ribbon was engraved. Crescent, start and ribbon are of white color.Its back side is of smooth surface.  Medal is attached to dress on right angled ribbon of size of 27 mm x 43 mm, with ring and loop.   The vertical stripes of blue and white color of width 3 mm, of olive and white color of 1 mm of width that reflects types of Armed Forces were imaged in sequence to center from edges in the olive color background of ribbon. The mould is added of size 27 mm x 9 mm coated with same ribbon with element for fixation to dress.
