One of the most ancient and rich history monuments of the Baku city is the world-famous rock depictions of Gobustan. There are many rock drawings in Boyukdas, Kichikdash, Cingirdag, Sıkhqaya Sonqardag in Gobustan, witnessing the past of Azerbaijani people, related to the Stone Age:  camps, settlements, graves and other monuments. Monuments of all periods from the Middle Ages to the Mesolite are available in the territory of Boyukdash.
