Kafiyaddin Umar Ibn Osman

He is a famous physician of Shirvan, was born about 1080. He established in Shamakhi Malham - ointment madrasah and led it. He taught his brother’s son, the famous poet, Shirvani (1120-1199) medicine and other subjects. Khagani Shirvani in his Tohfanul-Iraqeyn poem provides detailed information about the Kafiyaddin Omar and his activities.
