Zahra Salayeva

Azerbaijani neuropathologist, Doctor of medical sciences, professor (1967), honored science worker, till 1981 she  was head of the department of nervous diseases (since 1967) at Azerbaijan State Medical Institute named after N. Narimanov.  

Her research mainly was dedicated to neuromalaria in Azerbaijan, clinic and pathomorphology of hemorrhoid encephalitis.

She was an author of works: Practical works from neuropathology (textbooks), B., 1962; Brain blood-vessel diseases, B., 1964; Neurogenetics (manual), B., 1977; Nervous Diseases, B., 1982; Hemorrhoid encephalitis in Azerbaijan (.Qemorraqiceskiy gnuefalit and Azerbaydcane), B., 1968.
