The Ministry Of Economic Development Of The Republic Of Azerbaijan

Ministry of Economic Development is the central executive authority forming and carrying out of state policy in the field of socio-economic development and international cooperation, including macroeconomic, trade, investment, and business development, restriction of monopoly and development of competition.

Ministry of Economic Development develops the economic policy, economic and social forecasts, carries out development of different areas of economy, foreign economic and trade relations, investment activity, attraction of investments in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As well as its provides implementation of appropriate actions in the field of domestic trade, business development and its promotion, such executive functions as state support of entrepreneurship, development and promotion of competition, including the elimination of unfair competition, protection of consumer rights, it works out the country\'s economy and innovation in the field of structural policy and carries out its activity and control in the area of legal issues related to its activity.

The ministry implements the state policy on economic co-operation with foreign countries and international and regional financial institutions, as well as actions aimed at increasing the efficiency of foreign economic relations.
