Aslan Rustamov

Since 1962 he is a member of the Artists\' Union of Azerbaijan. 

Since 1958, together with Albert Mustafayev and Korkmaz Sujaddinov he had prepared a design of fountain composition in front of the funicular Bahram Gur that kills Dragon. Aslan Rustamov is an author of granite monument of Seid Azim Shirvani in Shamakhy, a monument to Nariman Narimanov in Ulyanovsk and Germany (1977).

Aslan Abbasov’s sons – Teimur and Mahmud Rustamov are representatives of modern sculpture. 

The brother of Aslan Rustamov is the well-known painters of Azerbaijan. At present, sculpture of  Heydar Aliyev located in Ukraine Circle in Baku, monument erected to the victims of Khojaly, monument of composer Vasif Adygozelov are works of sculptor Rustamov (father and son).
