Ibrahim Zeynalov

He graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School named after A. Azimzade and Kharkov Art Institute.

During 1971-1973 he worked in the State Art School named after A. Azimzade as teacher, in the Pedagogical Institute in 1973-1993 as lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor and head of the Department. Then, since 1994 to 2003, he was the director of Azerbaijan State Art Museum named after Rustam Mustafayev.

Ibrahim Zeynalov had created images of historical figures, including Muciraddin Beylaqani, Ajami Nakhchivany, Imadaddin Nasimi, Shah Ismail Khatai, Ismail Bey Qutqashınly, Mirza Fatali Akhundov, Mirza Alakbar Sabir, Nariman Narimanov and Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev.

Ibrahim Zeynalov was awarded the USSR State Prize in 1972, and in 1976 he became a laureate of Azerbaijan State Prize, Honored Art Worker of Azerbaijan in 1975, and conferred the title of People\'s Artist in 1988.

He is a state award winner, Honored Art Worker, People\'s Artist of Azerbaijan, personal scholar of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
